What is remnant inventory?
A remnant is the usable piece of stone left over when a slab is cut for a job, often two thirds of a slab, in granite, quartz, quartzite or marble. Remnant inventory is the record of those pieces: what stone each one is, how big it is, what shape, and where it is standing in your yard. Most shops keep it in someone's head, a whiteboard, or a phone camera roll, which is why remnants get re-cut, given away, or thrown out. Written down properly, the same pile is a sellable catalog. Small jobs like vanities, hearths and bar tops are exactly what a remnant is the right size for.

Setting it up
How long does setup take?+
Most shops are live the same week. You bulk upload the list you already keep, or start with the A-frame that costs you the most time to search, and the rest fills in as pieces come off jobs. There is no photo day and no catch-up project.
Does it work with our existing website?+
Yes. You get your own storefront at yourshop.remnantflow.com, and one line of HTML puts the same live grid on the site you already have. It updates automatically as pieces sell.
Do we have to photograph everything before we start?+
No. A piece with sizes and no photo is still findable by your own floor from day one, and you choose whether those pieces are included when you share with other shops.
Does it work on a phone, in the yard?+
That is where it was built to be used. The app guides the camera, takes the sizes including L-shapes, the thickness, the finish and the A-frame location, and it works with gloves on in full sun. There is a dark mode for the people who start before it gets light.

Day to day
Will I be able to tell whether it's making us money?+
That is the point of recording the sale price on the piece. You see what the remnant pile actually recovered, how long pieces sit before they move, how the yard is keeping up with capture, and which pieces have sat unseen the longest. If the numbers do not justify the subscription, they will say so plainly.
Who can see what our team changed?+
You can. Every change is written down with a name and a time against it, and pieces are archived rather than erased. When someone asks what happened to slab 242, there is an answer instead of an argument.
Can other shops see my inventory?+
Only what your public storefront already shows, and only reciprocally. Another shop sees your available remnants while sharing theirs. Sharing is on by default so the network stays useful, and one Settings toggle turns it off. Pieces you haven't photographed stay out of it unless you choose to include them, and your A-frame locations are never shared.

What it costs
Is there a free trial?+
No, and no free tier either. Every shop starts with a 15-minute demo, because the hard part is not the monthly fee, it is loading your first inventory. We walk that through with you so you start with a storefront that already has your stone on it rather than an empty account.
Are there contracts?+
No. Simple monthly billing. Pay by card, cancel whenever.
How many users can we add?+
Unlimited, on every tier. Pricing scales with your inventory, never your headcount. We set your team's accounts up with you during onboarding.
What counts as an active remnant?+
Pieces that are available or on hold. Sold and archived pieces do not count, so a shop that keeps selling never gets punished for the volume it moves. The ceilings are 150, 400, or unlimited on Quarry, and they are soft: nothing is blocked and nothing is deleted if you go over.
What happens if we outgrow our plan?+
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. Your plan sets how many active remnants you carry. Sold pieces do not count against it, and you get a heads-up before you reach it. Moving up a tier takes effect immediately.
